TAXILA: Three persons died in separate incidents in Taxila and Attock on Sunday.

In the first incident, a man shot dead his elder brother in the limits of Taxila police station.

Nasir Khan said relations between his sons Yasin Khan, 25, and Saeed, 33, were not good due to some domestic dispute.

He said on Sunday both exchanged hot words and out of rage, Yasin took out his pistol and shot Saeed, killing him on the spot.

The suspect managed to escape from the scene.

In another incident, two suspects tortured their father to death in Taja Bara village in the limits of Fatehjang police station on Sunday.

Police sources said Ubaid along with his brother Akash beat up their 55-year-old father Ameer Gul and fled away.

Quoting family of the deceased, the police said Ameer Gul’s relations with his wife Shahnaz Bibi were not good.

To avenge the ill-treatment of their mother, both brothers tortured their father with sticks and rods and killed him. Moreover, a prayer leader was shot dead by unknown persons in Manja Mandi area within the limits of Injra police station.

Quoting family members of the deceased, police said Mohammad Ishaq, who worked as a teacher in a primary school and served as a prayer leader of the village mosque, was heading home after offering prayers when unknown persons shot him dead.
