SUKKUR: Tortured bodies of two siblings, who had gone missing in Shahbaz Colony a day before, were found on Wednesday.

The incident caused a massive outcry across Ghotki district.

Police officials said that Suleman Leghari, 12, and his sister Kulsoom Leghari went missing a day before and turned up dead in a desolated place in Nehri Shah graveyard on Wednesday.

They said that they shifted the bodies to taluka hospital for a post mortem as they had found torture marks on them. “We have launched an investigation into the case from every possible angle and we hope to apprehend the killers soon,” they said.

As soon as pictures and video clip of the children’s bodies covered in flies and dumped in the graveyard went viral on social media, it sparked protests across the district.
