KARACHI: Two men were shot dead while a woman and a boy wounded during a clash between two groups of Malir residents on Tuesday evening, police and rescuers said.

They said that a group of people had visited the house of one Faraz where the quarrel took place and both the sides resorted to firing.

An Edhi Foundation spokesperson identified the deceased as Shah Nawaz, 24, and Aziz, 26, and wounded as Akhtar Rahim, 12, and Lal Bibi, 45.

The deceased and injured were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

Sharing details of the dispute, the SHO of the Shah Latif Town police station, Idris Bangash, said that a Tuesday bazaar was held in Salih Mohammed Goth near The TCF School. He said that efforts were under way to arrest suspect Faraz.
