KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday reviewed the overall law and order situation in the province and directed law enforcement agencies to ensure security during the month of Muharram.

He said this while chairing an important meeting, which was also attended by Sindh Local Gover­nment Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Dr Mohammed Sohail Rajput, Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon. Additional IGPs, DIGs and SSPs of other districts attended the meeting via video link.

The CM issued necessary directives to maintain law and order situation in all districts of the province.

He also called for taking necessary security measures during Muharram.
