QUETTA: The provincial capital experienced a powerful blast that shook the entire city, at the CPEC link road on Monday evening.

According to an eyewitness, the explosion occurred while a police contingent patrolled between CPEC link and Samungli road area. One person sustained minor injuries and currently admitted in Bolan Medical College.

The blast shattered window panes of nearby buildings and caused a wall collapse. The police stated that it was not a bomb or explosive blast but a sewerage line explosion due to gas accumulation. Authorities are actively investigating the incident.
