QUETTA: Six people were killed, and ten others were injured in a tragic head-on collision between a pick-up and a passenger coach near Rakhani area in Barkhan district on Tuesday.

According to the police, the pick-up, carrying six passengers and heading from Rakhani to Loralai, met with the fatal incident at Rarasham area on the Loralai-Dera Ghazi Khan road. The passenger coach, traveling from Quetta to Lahore, collided with the pick-up at a blind turn, causing the pick-up to overturn after the collision.

All six individuals who lost their lives were traveling in the pick-up. Ten other passengers traveling to Lahore in the coach were injured. The police promptly responded to the scene and transported the injured to Rakhani hospital.

The deceased victims were identified as Shahzed, Muhammad Kashif, Mujeeb Ahmed, Tabish, Asmatullah, and Muhammad Akram, and their bodies were handed over to their families following medico-legal procedures.
