SWABI: Two unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a man inside his shop in Adina village of Razaar tehsil here on Saturday, SHO Kalu Khan police station Haroon Khan said.

He said the police recorded the statement of Syed Ashfaqur Rehman of Adina village before he succumbed to his injuries in the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

According to the statement, the deceased said he was sitting in his shop when two unknown motorcyclists entered his outlet and opened fire, leaving him critically injured.

The police said the cause of the murder and identity of the killers couldn’t be immediately known.

The police have, however, registered an FIR against unidentified assailants and started investigation.
