OKARA: The Ministry of Education has recognised the contributions of Vice Chancellor of the University of Okara (UO) Dr Muhammad Wajid by conferring upon him the Presidential Award “Izaz-i-Fazeelat” in recognition of his exceptional performance in the category of teacher/scientist, specifically for his achievements in producing high-quality research work.
The award is a testament to Dr Wajid’s accomplishments as an academician and researcher. He established Pakistan’s largest faculty of life sciences.
