TAXILA: A man allegedly killed his 17-year-old daughter in Lalarukh in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station on Wednesday, police sources said.

According to the police, the family of the deceased suspected that the girl’s father, Hafiz Maqsood, had killed his daughter in the name of honour while she was asleep and fled away. After an autopsy at Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Taxila, police handed over her body to the family. Police also registered a case against the accused and launched further investigation.
