DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) of Dera Ghazi Khan registered a case against former state minister and MNA Zartaj Gul, officials of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and the contractors on allegations of getting commission in award of contracts and poor quality of work.

An inquiry had found heavy losses to the government exchequer and Ms Gul was found involved in it along with government officials.

The former MNA was summoned time and again to be a part of the inquiry proceedings but she deliberately avoided inquiry proceedings.

A first information report (FIR) has now been registered against her and others.

A team comprising assistant director and circle officer along with lady police raided the house of Ms Gul but she was not present at home.
