TAXILA: Five persons were booked on the charge of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Attock and three of them have been arrested.
The incident occurred in Makhad Sharif locality in the limits of Jand police.
The victim’s father while lodging a report with the Jand police stated that he was a native of Kohat and living in a rented house in the Makhad Sharif and working as a daily wager.
He said his wife was visually impaired and his daughter looked after her.
He said the five persons subjected his daughter to sexual assault, taking advantage of his wife’ disability.
When contacted, a police spokesman said that a case had been registered against the suspects after a medical examination of the victim which confirmed the assault.
He said three of the suspects had been arrested while two were still at large.
