KHUZDAR: A senior officer of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Khuzdar, and his team members survived an armed attack on Sunday late night after.

According to police, Khuzdar Station House Officer Muhammad Murad Jamot, along with other CTD personnel, was going to his office when they were attacked by unknown armed men in Jaffarabad, a locality on the outskirts of Khuzdar town.

The CTD personnel immediately took position and returned fire. The exchange of fire continued for some time, forcing the attackers to escape.

Khuzdar SSP retired Capt Fhad Khosa rushed to the area soon after the incident and launched an operation to arrest the criminals involved in the attack.
