MIANWALI: Young doctor Sidra Khan, allegedly shot by her father some 10 days ago, succumbed to her injuries at the DHQ Hospital, Rawalpindi, on Tuesday night.

Fired upon by Abdul Samad Khan Shehbazkhel over some domestic issue, Dr Khan was rushed to the Mianwala DHQ Hospital in a critical condition. But due to absence of any neurology facility here, she was rushed to the DHQ Hospital, Rawalpindi, where she was operated upon.

She was buried at her ancestral graveyard in Shehbazkhel. The accused is still at large.
