MUZAFFARGARH: PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s sister Dr Uzmi Khan and her husband Ahad Khan appeared before the anti-corruption court judge on Wednesday in a case of forced purchase of land at low price in the Layyah district.

A panel of lawyers comprising Jam Muhammad Yunus, Iqbal Saqib, Atif Mastoi and Rana Arif Kamal Noon represented Dr Khan in the court which extended couple’s pre-arrest bail till Sept 14.

Dr Uzma Khan and her husband face Layyah ACE case for forcefully buying 5,261 kanal land worth millions well below market price in the Nawan Kot area of Chaubara tehsil (Layyah) allegedly through fraud and political pressure.
