KARACHI: Health authorities quarantined on Thursday three air travelers suspected of having monkeypox (mpox) following their arrival at Karachi airport.

A statement issued by the Sindh health department said that the three suspected patients arrived from Libya.

“All three suspected patients of the virus are Pakistanis and aged between 30-years and 45 years. They patients have been quarantined at a government health facility and their samples have been collected and sent for an analysis,” it said.
