KHUZDAR: During a heavy rainstorm accompanied by thunders, a house in Khuzdar was struck by lightning, resulting in the tragic death of a child and injuring three others, including a woman, on Saturday.
Levies officials said that the lightning hit the house of Muhammad Nawaz in village Banazgir Khand area, a locality on the outskirts of Khuzdar town during heavy rain and thunderstorm.
“A six-year-old child burnt to death and three others including a woman have received burn injuries,” Levies officials said, adding the body and injured were shifted to the district hospital.
