ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad hospitals have received 45 new dengue patients in the last 24 hours, District Health Office said on Wednesday.

It said out of the total 45 new cases 29 were reported from rural areas, including 10 from Koral, eight from Tarnol, four each from Tarlai and Alipur and one each from Bharakahu, Sohan and Rawat and 16 from urban areas.

The health office said that the number of dengue patients in capital rose to 187-- 129 were reported from rural areas and 58 from urban areas.

Out of 127 cases reported from rural areas, 49 came from Tarnol, 31 from Koral, 16 from Tarlai, 15 from Alipur, six from Bharakahu, four from Sohan, three from Rawat, two from Kurri and one each from Jhangi Syedan, Sihala and Tumair.
