LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday arrested two human smugglers and recovered over 100 passports from them.

According to the FIA, a team headed by Gujranwala Deputy Director Imran Ranjha raided on Sialkot Road and arrested Hamza and Muhammad Zubair who would send people abroad on doctored documents.

Over 100 passports, fake visa stickers of Spain, Portugal and Greece, and stamps have been recovered from their possession.

They would receive a handsome money from those aspiring to go to Europe. A case has been registered against the suspects.

In another raid in Multan on the direction of deputy director Khwaja Hamadur Rahman, a wanted human smuggler, Abdul Malik, was arrested.

The accused had extorted a handsome amount from the complainant for sending his son to Dubai.
