KHUZDAR: A Levies official was gunned down by unidentified men in Mastung on Thursday.

According to Levies officials, armed men riding motorcycles targeted the man on the city’s bus stand. He died on the spot.

Two other people who were passing by were injured.

Police shifted the body to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Zahir. The attack has been classified as targeted killing and the police have initiated an investigation. There have been no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack.
