MOHMAND: Students of a government girls’ middle school in Kota tehsil here on Wednesday blocked the main Ambar Road in protest against non-availability of teachers in their school.

The students said their teachers had not been coming to the school for long, thus wasting their precious time.

Their parents, who also participated in the protest, said 200 students were enrolled in the school, but there was no teacher, forcing many pupils to shift to other schools.

They vowed to continue blocking the road till teachers’ presence was ensured in the school.
