CHARSADDA: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s Charsadda tehsil president Waheed Bacha was among 60 party workers and leaders arrested here on Tuesday after a sessions court cancelled their bail-before-arrest in the May 9 riots case.

The government had registered FIRs against former provincial assembly candidate Abid Khan and party activists, including Nasir Khan Sarki, Suliman Khan, Zubair Ali Shah, Shakir Khan, Gul Nawaz and others, for vandalising the Charsadda Motorway toll plaza on May 9 after their party chief Imran Khan was arrested.

The sessions court cancelled their BBA and sent them to jail.
