TAXILA: The chemists and druggists associations of Hassanabdal and Taxila on Wednesday announced to observe strike and stage protest demonstration against the police as the motorcycle-borne robbers are on the loose, looting medicine supply vehicles with impunity.

Four armed robbers came on two different motorcycles equipped with different weapons, looted cash from a medicine supply vehicle near Gurdwara Punja Sahib and fled.

Later the same robbers stormed a medical store and looted cash and mobile phone from the shop owner at gunpoint on Hazara Road and fled. The same armed robbers looted another medicine supply van at gunpoint in model town area and fled.

As the chemists and druggists association share the CCTV footage of three different incidents of the same day in which the same four-member robbers could be seen looting the medical store and medicine supply vehicles in three different strikes.

They claimed that the CCTV footage which reveals their faces were provided to the police authorities but to no avail.
