QUETTA: Two persons were killed and one was injured during a clash between two groups at a hotel in the Joint Road area of the Balochistan capital on Wednesday.

According to police, a group of people went to the hotel and ordered tea. The waiter served tea to them, but they asked why he hadn’t brought them water.

This small disagreement led to an argument, and soon, other waiters and hotel staff got involved, resulting in a fight. Both sides used sticks and knives, which resulted in the death of two individuals and injuries to another.

Upon receiving information about the brawl, police quickly arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies and the injured person to a hospital. Officials at the hospital said the two individuals who died had suffered severe head injuries from the sticks and knives used during the fight.

Police have filed a case against both the groups and arrested some of the individuals involved in the clash. Further investigation is under way.
