DADU: A bogie of a Karachi-Lahore goods train derailed near Bholari station blocking the Up track and causing disruption in the traffic on nearby tracks on Friday.

A Pakistan Railways official at Kotri, Ali Nawaz Abbasi, said that efforts to put the bogie back on track were started immediately. He said Lahore-bound passenger trains from Karachi were being provided the Down track to avoid delays in the traffic operation. The affected track would be rehabilitated in a shortest possible time, he added.
