An opportunity

CANADA recently expelled an Indian diplomat due to alleged involvement of New Delhi in the killing of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed to have incredible evidence of Indian intelligence’s role in the assassination, leading to a tense relationship between the two countries and a halt in their trade talks.

In this scenario, Pakistan could potentially step forward and offer products that Canada might consider importing from here. This is a real business opportunity for the country.

We must act swiftly to determine which products the country can export to Canada. Pakistani products, known for their quality, particularly items like rice, leather goods, towels and fruits, have a great chance of making an impact in the Canadian market if Pakistan seizes this opportunity with the urgency that the matter deserves.
