KOHAT: The nanbais on Friday shut tandoors in protest against the administration’s crackdown on them to bring down roti price. The nanbais said they couldn’t sell 130-gram roti at Rs20 due to costly electricity, gas and inflation.
The nanbais shut the ovens after talks between the administration officials and president of their association Laal Mohammad broke down on Thursday.
