KOHAT: An additional sessions judge on Tuesday stopped the police from re-arresting a brother of a local Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf after confirmation of his bail.

PTI Kohat president Aftab Alam said the police after failing to arrest the party leader, Shafi Jan despite several raids on his house, had arrested his brother, Hafiz Inamullah Jan, the other day.

He said when Inamullah was presented before the additional sessions judge-2 for confirmation of his bail, he was arrested from outside the court. “After which, we went to the judge and informed him about the situation. The judge called the police, reprimanded them, and restricted them from arresting Mr Inamullah,” he said.
