LAHORE: Saad Baig will continue to captain the Pakistan U-19 side against their Sri Lankan counterpart in the five-match one-day series to be played in Karachi from Oct 22 to Oct 31.

Pakistan comprehensively defeated Sri Lanka by nine wickets on Tuesday in their one-off four-day match at National Bank Stadium in Karachi with a day to spare.

The head of national junior selection committee Inzamam-ul-Haq announced the 18-member squad on Thursday, in which he retained six players who featured in the victory against Sri Lanka.

The list includes skipper Saad, Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Ibti­sam, Mohammad Ismail, Shamyl Hussain and Shahzaib Khan.

Pakistan’s squad will train at the National Bank Stadium over the next two days.
