QUETTA: The Election Commission of Balochistan on Thursday announced that elections of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation will be held on Nov 30.

According to the schedule, returning officers will issue a public notice on Oct 30 about polls and nomination papers will be received from candidates from Nov 2 to 4.

The list of candidates will be issued on Nov 6. Similarly, from Nov 7 to 9, returning officers will scrutinise nomination papers of all candidates.

The last date for filing of appeals against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers is Nov 11 and decisions will be announced on Nov 14.

As per the schedule, polling will be held on Nov 30.
