QUETTA: Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chairman has demanded the UN and the US to immediately stop genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

Speaking at a protest against Israeli bombardment and blockade of the Gaza Strip on Friday, Mahmood Khan Achakzai expressed surprise how Israelis, who themselves went through persecution and witnessed violence in different periods of their history, can carry out such wanton violence and usurp rights of the Palestinian people.

The party held protest in all districts of the Pakhtun belt of Balochistan to express its solidarity with Palestinian people.

The main procession was taken out in Quetta. Led by the party chairman Achakzai, other party leaders, workers and supporters assembled at lawns of the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation and then they marched through various roads and streets of the provincial capital.

Later, the protestors gathered at the Bacha Khan Chowk where Mr Achakzai addressed them.

“Netanyahu should learn a lesson from Afghanistan that no superpower could obliterate Afghans nor their spirit of freedom and independence,” the PkMAP leader said.
