ISLAMABAD: Hamza Roman defeated Mohammad Salaar to book a meeting with Hamza Aasim in the final of the National Junior Tennis Championship here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Islamabad.

Hamza, after a draining match on Friday, edged Salaar 6-1, 5-7, 7-5 while Hamza Aasim, in a contrasting outing, thumped Kashan Tariq 6-2, 6-2.

The girls Under-18 semi-final saw Amna Ali Qayum registering a flawless 6-0, 6-0 victory over Hibba Omar.

In the boys Under-14 last-four matches, Haziq Ali downed Nabeel Ali Qayum 5-3, 4-2 and will face Amir Mazari, who routed Razik Sultan 4-0, 4-0, in the decider.

Shayan Afridi emerged triumphant in the boys and girls Under-12 semis after defeating Waqas Janas 5-4(4), 4-0 while Junaid Khan beat Razik Sultan 5-3, 3-5, 4-0.
