SWABI: Body of a 22-year-old youth, who was allegedly killed by his friends, was recovered from the service road of Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway in Chota Lahor tehsil here on Tuesday, the police said.

He said the police were informed about the presence of the body by locals.

He said the police, after collecting the body shared its picture on social media to reach the family. He said soon his family contacted them from Nowshera district, and collected the body from the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Shaukat Khan, father of the deceased, told the police that Aamir Khan and Jabran Khan, two brothers, were friends of his son. He said the brothers were involved in car lifting.

He said after their friendship strained over some issue, they brought his son to Chota Lahor under a well-planned strategy and then killed him.
