QUETTA: The Balochistan government has facilitated the return of Afghan refugees by setting up special support centres in the areas bordering Afghanistan, caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domki said on Tuesday, but stressed that strict action would be taken against illegal immigrants after the repatriation deadline.
He said these centres had been established to facilitate those migrants who want to return voluntarily, providing them with comprehensive support.
In an address at the National Security Workshop, Mr Domki also highlighted the geopolitical significance of Balochistan, pointing out its vast mineral wealth. He said that around 40 underground mineral reserves of substantial value had been discovered so far.
