UK lawmaker Jeremy Corbyn has said a crucial vote on a ceasefire in Gaza is scheduled for Wednesday and urged his colleagues to vote in the affirmative.

“With every passing minute that the bombing continues, another human being is killed. This must end, now.

“I will vote for a ceasefire tomorrow, and I will continue to demand the release of hostages, an end to the siege of Gaza, and an end to the occupation of Palestine. I urge colleagues to do the same,” he said in a post on social media platform X.
