KARACHI: A suspected robber was shot dead by a citizen in the Bahadurabad area on Tuesday evening, police and rescue services said.

They said that the incident took place near the Askari Bank close to Char Minar Chowrangi.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for completing of medico-legal formalities. Doctors said he appeared to be in his 40s.

The police said that the identification could not be made till late in the night.

Only on Monday, a citizen shot dead two muggers when they were looting him and others at an eatery in Korangi.
