LAHORE: Fatima Sana, Omaima Sohail and Shawaal Zulfiqar were picked in a 17-member Pakistan women’s cricket squad for the upcoming tour of New Zealand was announced here on Friday.

Pakistan will play three T20 Internationals and as many one-dayers in New Zealand from Dec 3 to 18.

Squad: Nida Dar (captain), Aliya Riaz, Bismah Maroof, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, Ghulam Fatima, Muneeba Ali (wicket-keeper), Najiha Alvi (wicket-keeper), Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Omaima Sohail, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Sidra Amin, Umm-e-Hani, Waheeda Akhtar

Player support personnel: Nahida Khan (manager), Mohtashim Rashid (interim head coach), Saleem Jaffar (bowling coach), Taufeeq Umar (batting coach), Mohammad Asfand Yar (strength and conditioning coach), Syed Nazir Ahmed (media manager), Rifat Asghar Gill (physio), Zubair Ahmed (analyst).
