KARACHI: A fire erupted in a residential building in Clifton on Thursday, officials said.

Boat Basin SHO Malik Riaz Niazi said that the fire broke out on the 9th floor of the building in Block-2.

Fire officials said the blaze that erupted in an electric wire duct was put off by a fire engine.

Meanwhile, the K-Electric said in a statement that the fire broke out inside the premises and KE infrastructure was not involved in the incident.
