QUETTA: Balochistan caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domki has said that over 20,000 youth, including 7,000 women, are acquiring technical skills across various fields to produce high-quality technical human resources in the province.
In a meeting with the Overseas Employment Promoters Association (OEPA) delegation, led by chairman Asad Kyani, on Friday, he said these trained youths would be offered jobs in different sectors.
Balochistan Minister of Finance and Revenue Amjad Rasheed also attended the meeting, where Mr Kyani briefed the chief minister about the association’s initiatives nationwide, including Balochistan.
“Government sectors have limited jobs, and not every youth can be provided government employment,” he said, adding that there is a need to guide the youth in a better direction.
Later in a press conference, Mr Kyani claimed OEPA had sent 13 million skilled youth abroad.
