LAHORE: PPP leaders from Punjab and Balochistan called on Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House here on Tuesday.

Those who visited Mr Zardari included PPP Balochistan general secretary Rozi Khan Kakar, central executive committee member Ali Madad Jatak, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Riaz Shahwani, Nadeem Asghar Kaira and Makhdoom Artza.

They discussed the political situation of their respective areas with Mr Zardari.

Officials and workers of the Mandi Bahauddin chapter also met with the PPP-P president.

They included Punjab vice-president of People’s Youth Organization Syed Yawar Abbas, sports wing district president

Adnan Aslam, district general secretary of PYO Sanul Tarar and city president Arshadullah.

People’s Student Federation, Gujranwala Division, general secretary Arslan Mukhtar, PYO city president Raja Pal, city president Kamran Hashmi, Gujranwala Division PYO vice-president Syed Hussain Shah, ticket-holder Usman Azmat Marth and workers Shabir Hussain, Mazhar Hussain, Ali Hasan Shah and Raja Zulfikar also called on president Zardari.
