Tim Allen confirms talks for Toy Story 5
Tim Allen, the 70-year-old actor known for voicing Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story franchise, during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, revealed about the possibility of Toy Story 5.
Both Allen and Tom Hanks, who voices Woody, have been approached to reprise their iconic roles. Allen expressed some reservations about a fifth instalment, but noted that the writer has intriguing ideas. He even shared his concept for the sequel, envisioning an adult Andy and his children as central characters. The details about Toy Story 5 remain under wraps for now.
Aquaman 2 hints at epic underwater Odyssey
The sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, set to release on December 22, reunites the dynamic duo of Jason Momoa and James Wan for a deep-sea adventure in the Lost Kingdom, ruled by the enigmatic King Kordax. The plot unfolds as Aquaman and his half-brother Orm, played by Patrick Wilson, join forces against the vengeful Black Manta, portrayed by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
The film promises a globe-trotting escapade blending sibling rivalry with a buddy comedy twist. The official synopsis hints at high stakes, with Black Manta wielding the mythic Black Trident and threatening irreversible destruction. To counter this threat, Aquaman seeks an alliance with his imprisoned brother Orm. With a star-studded cast and Wan’s directorial prowess, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set to deliver an immersive cinematic experience.
Frozen 3: Jennifer Lee teases epic multi-film saga
Frozen 3 is in the spotlight as director Jennifer Lee hints at a grander narrative for the beloved franchise. Lee shared her excitement for the upcoming instalment and suggested that the story might be too epic to fit into just one film. While Frozen 4 has been mentioned, Lee emphasised that Frozen 3 could be a precursor to an even more detailed sequel.
With her involvement in various ventures, Lee leaves the question of the directorial helm for Frozen 3 open, stating, “I think I’ll know the right moment” for her return to directing. Although there’s no trailer yet, Lee’s tease about a larger project has fans eagerly anticipating more details as they emerge.
