LAHORE: Alhamra was a happening place on Friday evening where Korean singers, musicians and dancers entrained the audience with their fantastic performances.

The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in collaboration with Lahore Arts Council.

Speaking on the occasion, Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Park Kijun said the Pakistanis had given a warm welcome to the Korean Musicians.

Mr Ki Jun said it was not merely a concert but the cultural exchange between Pakistan and Korea adding that the Korean musicians would present popular songs of Korea booth the modern ones and the timeless classical. He thanked the crowd for appreciating the Korean Music.

The chief guest, caretaker provincial minister Jamal Nasir, welcomed the Korean musicians to Pakistan and hoped that the music lovers would enjoy the Korean music. The concert was reflective of the history of Korean pop music.

The singers and musicians presented iconic songs ranging from timeless classic to the latest hits. Band Gaon presented repertories that transcend eras and genres. Reinterpreting beloved Korean pop classical in the unique style of Gaon offering fresh musical experience to a large audience. Yohan nam was the vocalist, with other musicians on drum, bass guitar, electric guitar and keyboard.

The jam-packed Hall No 1 of Alhamra enjoyed the pop music night. There was dancing, clapping and wholf whistles by the youth who attended the Korean Pop music concert. The Korean singers and musicians also enjoyed performing at Alhamra as the crowd of was positively responsive. There were also a few dance performances too by the Korean performers. At a big Smd installed in the hall the popular songs of Korea were also being played.
