ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to establish six additional protectorate of emigrant offices at strategic locations in the country, a positive news for individuals aspiring to work abroad.
The new protectorate offices will be established in Sukkur, Abbottabad, Azad and Jammu Kashmir, Gwadar, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan. There are currently nine protectorate of emigrant offices situated in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Multan, Malakand, D.G. Khan and Sialkot, managed by the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment.
The decision to open six more protectorate offices was taken at a meeting held at the ministry of overseas Pakistanis and human resource development in Islamabad.
