GWADAR: A labourer was killed and two others were injured when some armed men attacked them in Turbat area of Kech district on Sunday.

According to police, some unidentified armed men on motorcycles opened fire on the workers carrying out construction work. As a result of the firing, three labourers were seriously wounded. After receiving information, law enforcement personnel rushed to the area and shifted the injured to Turbat district hospital.

One of the injured later died at the hospital, while others were admitted.

The labourer killed in the firing was identified as Mohammad Javed, who belonged to Sindh. His body was sent to his native town.

It was the third incident in which construction workers were targeted by armed men in Kech district.
