TAXILA: A sessions court in Attock on Friday sentenced a man to death for murdering a man over some old feud in the limits of Hazro Police station in 2022. The judge also imposed a fine on the convict.

According to the FIR registered under section 302 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) at Hazro Police station, the accused Iqbal Shah had shot dead over some old enmity. Later Police arrested the accused and recovered the weapon utilized in the murder case.

The prosecution produced substantial evidence against the accused which established involvement of Iqbal Shah in the cold blood murder of a man and sentenced him to death.

The judge also imposed a fine Rs300,000 as damages.
