Sheer apathy

ISRAEL has purchased 60 robot dogs from Ghost Robotics for Israel Defence Forces (IDF) as part of its strategy to reduce casualties in ground operations against the Palestinians. These advanced robots are designed to gather critical intelligence and provide support to combat forces.

The robot dogs, which cost $165,000 each, are similar to the dogs used by the United States military. The initiative comes at a critical time when Israel is facing heavy attacks and suffering human and financial losses in the ongoing territorial conflict. The deployment of these robots demonstrates Israel’s commitment to using technology to improve military operations while prioritising the safety of its personnel.

The Israeli move has yet once again raised concerns about the role of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other such spineless Muslim organisations. It has raised questions about redundancy of these platforms. When Israel has been so concerned about lives of its soldiers that it has bought robots to protect lives, the Muslim world seems to be oblivious to the misery of millions of Palestinian civilians in Gaza facing unprecedented genocide by murderous colonialists from Europe.

The ongoing conflict has caused heavy losses and financial difficulties, causing international repercussions. Many people wonder why the United Nations is not more committed to combating this serious crisis and its effects.

The lack of active involvement of these so-called ‘powerful’ institutions in addressing the impact of the conflict has led to further debate about their role in the conflict.

Will the Muslim world wake up and rise to the occasion and do the needful?
