GWADAR: Pakistan’s ambassador to Beijing, Khalil Hashmi, has said that efforts are underway for the timely completion of development projects initiated under the CPEC, with the support of Chinese government.

He made these remarks while speaking to reporters during his visit to the port city of Gwadar on Sunday.

“Many projects have been completed in Gwadar under the CPEC initiative. The Gwadar International Airport project is exemplary, and a modern hospital has also been established to provide better treatment facilities for the local people,” he said.

Mr Hashmi, while discussing other steps taken by the government with the help of Beijing, highlighted that scholarships will be provided to students for technical and other education. Additionally, the fishing sector will be developed on modern lines to promote it, he added.
