KARACHI, Feb 2: Left-hander Rehan Rafiq completed his second century in successive matches as Bahawalpur batted themselves into a commanding position against Karachi Whites in the Quaid Trophy Grade-I fixture against Karachi Whites at Bahawalpur Stadium Saturday.

Rehan, who made an unbeaten 197 against Rest of Balochistan last week, was batting on 104 to help his side obtain a massive 213-run lead by making 397 for eight in their first innings after dismissing the Whites for 184 Friday.

At one stage, Bahawalpur, who started the day on 122 for three, were set to gain a slender lead but the unfinished ninth-wicket partnership of 156 between Rehan and tailender Faisal Elahi (65) demoralised the visitors.
