LAHORE: PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur on Thursday filed a writ petition before the Lahore High Court seeking details of cases registered against him and against his possible arrest.

Gandapur pleaded through a counsel that he was an active member of the PTI and the government had been taking coercive actions against the party on political grounds.

He stated that undisclosed cases had been registered against him in Punjab province and he could be arrested anytime.

He asked the court to order the caretaker government to present details of all cases and inquiries filed against him.

He also asked the court to pass an injunctive order against his possible arrest in any undisclosed case.

Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry will take up the petition on Friday (today).
