MANSEHRA:The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Tuesday terminated the basic membership of its three members for contesting the Feb 8 elections They include Aftab Shah, Ghazanfar Ali Abbasi and Shahbaz Gul.

Mr Shah is a candidate against PTI nominee Saleem Imran Swati in NA-14 Mansehra-I and against Abdul Shakoor Khan in PK-40 Mansehra-V.

Mr Abbasi and Mr Gul are vying for PK-42 Abbottabad-I and PK-43 Abbottabad–II seats respectively against PTI-backed candidates.

“We have zero tolerance for those who challenged the party’s discipline by defying its election nominations,” PTI president in Hazara Division Babar Saleem Swati told reporters here.
