Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party (IPP) patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen says he will work with Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif to stabilise the national economy after the Feb 8 election.

Addressing a workers convention in Multan on Tuesday, he announced his decision to contest the election from his home city (Multan) and said he was happy to return to his roots and serve the people here as he had done in Lodhran, his previous constituency.

He said the foundation of every country and nation was the economy and that he would start a programme with the Sharifs to make the economy grow and benefit everyone.
